  • Great opportunity to join the Trade team as Business Development Manager selling to a mixture of trade accounts

The role:

  • Responsible for managing and developing a number of existing and new customers within the Trade area of the business
  • These include National Builders Merchants, Buying Groups, Wholesalers, Social Housing, Local Authorities and Hotels for example
  • Products are Home & DIY led with a strong heritage and reliability levels across the industry
  • Work closely with Trade Sales Director to develop a strategy and deliver on company targets
  • Need to work in a collaborative manner with all customers, develop and nurture long-term relationships
  • Be entrepreneurial, a self-starter and able to manage your own workload effectively

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience of selling into Builders Merchants, Social Housing, Local Authorities or Buying Groups would be highly beneficial
  • If you have operated in DIY, Bathroom, Construction, Home, Garden or a relevant category this will be viewed favourably
  • If you have operated in another product area and customer channel and looking for a change in direction this will also be considered
  • You may currently be in a Business Development, Field Sales or Territory based role and seeking a new opportunity
  • Be highly personable, a strong relationships builder and want to be part of a long-standing team
  • Want to join a progressive, forward thinking organization
  • Able to work autonomously, travel regularly as per the needs of the role and buisness
