Your new roleAs a Domestic Specification Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the New Build sales strategy within your designated territory. You will focus on gaining specifications and successful conversions to enhance sales growth and profitability, working closely with key housebuilder accounts and executing contact and training plans. In this role, you will build relationships with specifier decision-makers and influential stakeholders, including plumbing contractors, to optimise sales through national and regional merchant accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering a targeted sales plan that prioritises National Developer groups
  • Achieving specification generation, pipeline, and conversion targets through systematic tracking
  • Providing competitor and market activity reports
  • Managing and growing relationships with key strategic and tactical accounts
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop compelling solutions for clients
  • Identifying new business opportunities within the New Build sector
  • Communicating and implementing nationally agreed sales strategies

What you'll need to succeedTo thrive in this role, you will need a strong understanding of the New Build sector and excellent relationship management skills. A proactive approach to sales planning and execution will be essential, alongside experience in working with national and regional housebuilders, contractors, and merchant accounts.
