Are you a results-driven Sales Engineer with experience in diesel engines and OEM product sales?
NEOS are working with a leading power solutions provider looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Sales Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a UK wide role offering exciting opportunities to work with high-profile OEM brands across off-highway, power generation, and marine sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of diesel engine products by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with OEM clients.
- Prepare quotations and tenders in line with company and OEM standards.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process including client consultation, technical matching of products, and contract fulfilment.
- Regularly liaise with franchise partners and attend OEM reviews and trade shows across the UK, Ireland, and occasionally overseas.
- Monitor and follow up on leads from internal teams, OEMs, and industry sources to convert into active sales.
- Collaborate with application engineers and technical teams to ensure products align with customer requirements.
- Track and report sales activity, ensuring all targets and KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Attend regular internal sales meetings and contribute to strategic planning and goal-setting.
Requirements:
- Proven background in diesel engine sales or power systems within OEM environments.
- Strong account management skills with a focus on long-term customer relationships.
- Confident communicator with the ability to advise clients and close technical sales.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland, including overnight stays.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
