The Role of UK Sales Manager

  • A field-based managerial sales role covering the UK, managing a team of 10
  • Team is made up of 80% account management with a small amount (20%) of new business professionals.
  • Selling a range of capital equipment into academic institutions and end users with a host of engineering disciplines
  • You'll be leading, inspiring and mentoring the sales team
  • Regularly engaging with customers, helping grow existing and landing new customers
  • Ability to adapt to customer needs and business required travelling.
  • The role involves an amount of travel across the UK and Ireland including travel to Europe at least twice per year.

The Candidate for the UK Sales Manager

  • Proven capex sales in the Aerospace, Automotive, or Medical space, order values of £50k-200k.
  • Commercial awareness and able to manage a sizeable commercial sales team with prior experience of doing so.
  • Existing technical sales team management experience
  • Confident presenter, come across professionally
  • Strong English communication skills are essential, German as an additional language would be advantageous
  • Full UK drivers' licence and right to work in the UK without sponsorship
  • Hold a valid passport

The Package for the UK Sales Manager

  • £60,000 - £80,000 basic salary, D.O.E
