The Role:
聽
They are looking for an experienced and driven Associate to join the Major Infrastructure Planning Practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a capable individual with a strong background in project and programme management, and experience of successfully delivering Major Infrastructure consent and subsequent compliance requirements. 聽In this role, you'll provide technical leadership and project management support across a range of multidisciplinary projects for new and existing clients in a range of complex situations for Major Infrastructure Planning projects, and will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the sector.
聽
The ideal candidate will:
路Have a strong consultancy background, with a proven track record of working within the DCO/NSIP planning process and of managing major project consent and subsequent compliance.
路Demonstrate experience of project and programme management, with experience of successfully delivering Major Infrastructure consents, requirements and complex multi-work package programmes.
路Possess robust technical skills in highways, transport and traffic management projects with a detailed knowledge of highway design principles and technical approvals.
路Possess a strong grasp of stakeholder engagement strategies, with the ability to translate feedback from constructive dialogue into positive project results.
路Have a sound understanding of transport policy and current issues in the UK.
路Be capable of maintaining relationships with existing public and private sector clients, additionally identifying and realising new commercial opportunities for generating project work from key clients.
路Have a growing network of industry contacts and positive client referrals.
路Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, using a range of formats to convey complex ideas.
路Hold a relevant professional qualification such as Chartered Engineer or TPP (or equivalent).
路Contribute to the advancement of their profession and the broader industry by:
oParticipating in relevant professional associations, working groups, or industry forums.
oSharing expertise through speaking engagements, publications, or thought leadership.
oStaying abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices.
oSupporting the development of industry standards or contributing to policy discussions.
