Your new companyYou will be joining an industry-leading contractor based in the Birmingham area operating in the water sector. This multi-accredited and established organisation has a strong pipeline of work with Severn Trent and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Commissioning Engineer to join their team.

This is a full-time permanent position working on non-infrastructure projects across the Severn Trent region.

Your new roleAs Commissioning Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining detailed commissioning records and documentation
  • Coordinating commissioning activities
  • Chairing commissioning meetings with subcontractors and the client as and when required
  • Reviewing and signing off commissioning documentation and RAMS
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during commissioning
  • Conducting pre-commissioning inspections and testing of equipment and systems.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Proven commissioning experience in the water industry, ideally on non-infrastructure projects
  • Process knowledge around treatment and water movement
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages
  • Full UK driving licence.
