Are you a Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer looking for your first exciting and technically challenging position? This is an excellent opportunity for a recent civil engineering or geology graduate to work for a specialist geotechnical consultancy based in Birmingham, on a variety of projects around the Midlands. You'll be provided with the training and opportunities to kickstart your career alongside a team of specialist engineers.

The Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer selected will be working with a specialist team of Civil, Structural and Geotechnical consultants. You'll be trained to apply your educational knowledge - develop ground models and designing structures including retaining walls, foundations, piles and reinforced soil slopes. Engineers will also be conducting ground movement assessments and expected to develop applicable knowledge.

To be considered for the Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer position you should:

  • Have a degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering (with a geotechnical focus) or similar (MSc preferred).
  • Have a full and clean UK Driving Licence.
  • Be commutable to Birmingham.
  • Have a full right to work in the UK.
