Senior Planner - Infrastructure | Birmingham | Tier One Contractor

A leading tier one contractor is currently seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join their Infrastructure team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a planning professional with a strong background in civils and highways to work for one of the industry's top players.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, updating, and managing complex project programmes, ensuring alignment across all levels of delivery and stakeholder engagement. This contractor is committed to building a better future through sustainable and inclusive infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce and maintain robust project programmes that meet both internal and external requirements.
  • Adapt programme details to meet the needs of various stakeholders, including clients and delivery teams.
  • Align short-term plans with the overall programme strategy to support efficient delivery.
  • Work closely with delivery teams to guide short-term planning and ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain high planning standards across all areas of responsibility.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Proven experience in the civil and highways sector, ideally within the RDP framework.
  • A solid background in planning roles within Tier 1 construction contractors.
  • Proficiency in a range of planning and project control tools and techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
