Nicholas Associates have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a reputable groundworks company based in the West Midlands.

Standing out for their high-quality delivery on site, this residential groundworks company are subcontractors to PLC housebuilders including Redrow Homes, Taylor Wimpey, Bellway Homes, Vistry Group and Keepmoat Homes. Building on decades of success, they are enjoying a period of strategic growth and are therefore expanding their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Management and supervision of Site Engineers / Junior Engineers

Tackling any technical issues on site.

Collaborating closely with the Technical Manager to maintain the quality and efficiency of site operations.

Quality Assurance

Liaising with the client and subcontractors

Assisting in day-to-day site management, including maintaining accurate site records

Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times

Key Requirements:

BSc/HNC/HND in civil engineering or equivalent.

Residential groundworks experience (Must Have)

A strong understanding of setting out processes.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.

Experience with GPS, machine control & 3D AutoCAD
