Job Title: Building Surveyor - Dilapidations Specialist
Location: Birmingham
Salary: 60,000 - 70,000 (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor with a strong background in dilapidations to join our dynamic and growing team. You'll be working with a diverse client base, providing expert advice, and delivering high-quality professional services across a range of commercial property matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake and manage dilapidations surveys and reports
- Provide strategic advice to both landlords and tenants
- Conduct pre-acquisition and condition surveys
- Prepare and negotiate schedules of condition and repair
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- Proven experience in dilapidations (essential)
- Degree in Building Surveying or related field
- MRICS or working towards chartership (preferred)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
