Our client, a leader in the infrastructure and transportation sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Bridge Inspector. This role involves overseeing and conducting inspections to ensure the safety and integrity of bridge structures, playing a critical part in maintaining national infrastructure standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of bridges and other structures based on national and local guidelines.
- Document and report findings, including assessing the severity of defects and recommending remedial actions.
- Develop and maintain inspection schedules to ensure all structures are inspected within required intervals.
- Ensure all inspections comply with safety regulations and quality assurance protocols.
- Liaise with engineering teams to provide insights and recommendations based on inspection outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior inspectors and other team members.
- Utilise advanced inspection tools and techniques to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of inspections.
Job Requirements
- Significant experience in bridge inspection or a related field.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software.
