Join Our Team: We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Head of Commercial to support our Managing Director in leading our commercial operations with a remit to drive growth. This role oversees the Marketing Manager and Events Manager, ensuring cohesive and effective strategies across all commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance profitability.
• Lead and manage the marketing and events teams, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Oversee the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, events, and promotions.
• Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company's reach and market presence.
• Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify trends.
• Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost-effective solutions and maximising ROI.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers.
• Monitor and analyse the performance of commercial activities, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals.
• Prepare regular reports on commercial activities, performance, and financial results.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Working with and supporting volunteers in their commitment to our organisation values and business objectives.
Ideal Candidate:
• Proven experience in a senior commercial role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strategic thinking and ability to develop innovative solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in commercial software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
