Responsibilities
- Assembly and end of line test of complex mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Working with relevant processes and providing feedback on optimising assembly processes.
- Supporting the project team, to plan, prioritise and ensure maximum productivity.
Knowledge and Experience
- Ability to use measurement equipment such as vernier, micrometer.
- Familiarity with problem solving tools such as 8D, for investigation of quality issues and can work cross functionally in resolution of quality issues.
- Is capable of training others to a known standard.
- Supporting investigations and contributing ideas for improvement.
- Manages time effectively and prioritises tasks to meet set deadlines.
- Pays attention to detail while following quality, health and safety procedures, and implements good judgment to make appropriate decisions.
- Shows vigilance and diligence, maintaining high standards of work while staying calm under pressure.
