Our client, a forward-thinking manufacturing business, has recently secured significant investment in state-of-the-art CNC machinery, including Fanuc Robodrills, Hurco, Mecal, Mazak, and Haas. With this expansion, they are transitioning from primarily 3-axis work into advanced 4- and 5-axis operations, creating excellent opportunities for upskilling and career progression.
They are seeking motivated individuals across all experience levels, from those new to CNC setting and operating, to experienced programmers. The right attitude and drive are more important than just “button-pushing,” as they are looking for people who want to grow with the business.
As a CNC Operative / Setter, you will:
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and production machinery
- Ensure all products meet precise quality standards
- Perform tooling adjustments, machine changeovers, and regular quality checks
- Work with a range of advanced machinery including Fanuc Robodrills, Hurco, Mecal, Elumatec, Mazak, and Haas
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Production Operative / Setter, ideally with CNC machine setup and operation
- Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Team-oriented, with effective communication skills and a collaborative approach

Mon–Thu: 6am–2pm or 2pm–10pm
Fri:      6am–12pm or 12pm–6pm
