We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Turner to join our client's team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced machinist to work with a business that values craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and employee wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, Setting, and Operating CNC Turning Machines
- Working with Mazatrol, Siemens, and G-Code control systems
- Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings
- Producing components to tight tolerances
- Setting tools with a clear understanding of cutting speeds and feeds
- Performing boring, drilling, and threading operations
- Using precision measurement equipment (verniers, bore gauges, micrometers, etc.)
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude
- Flexible and able to prioritise workload
- Commitment to continuous improvement and quality
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC Programming
- Experience with CAD/CAM is desirable but not essential
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
- Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
