CNC Turner Programmer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 / Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
Overview:
We're working with a well-established and highly regarded engineering business that is actively seeking a skilled CNC Turner. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced machinist to join a professional team within a modern, clean, and well-run facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines.
- Working with Mazatrol, Siemens, and G-code control systems.
- Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings.
- Setting tools, understanding cutting speeds and feeds, and carrying out boring, drilling, and threading operations.
- Ensuring high levels of accuracy and consistency while working to tight tolerances.
- Confident use of inspection and measurement equipment including verniers, bore gauges, micrometres, etc
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment.
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming.
- Mazatrol, Siemens, and G-code programming experience
- Solid background in CNC turning operations.
- Preferably experience with CAD/CAM systems.
- Someone who is highly motivated, communicates well, and works effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
- A willingness to learn and continuously improve
