Manual Grinders required for day or night shifts with this established company that is being revitalised by new owners.The roles involve working on Jones & shipman Universal Grinders to do internal and external grinding producing often complex or intricate aerospace parts.Responsibilities:- Operate manual grinding machines.- Set up and operate Jones and Shipman grinding machines.- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine grinding requirements and specifications.- Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet precise tolerances.- Perform necessary adjustments to machines to achieve desired specifications.- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.- Report any equipment malfunctions or processing issues to supervisors for resolution.- Collaborate with team members to optimise production efficiency.Requirements:- Proven experience with universal grinding techniques.- Competency in operating and setting up Jones and Shipman machinery.- Strong ability to perform both internal and external grinding tasks.- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.- Keen attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
