Project Manager - BirminghamWe are currently working with a leading Contractor who are looking for a Project Manager to be based in Birmingham working on various water projects.LocationBirminghamSalary £70 000 - £80 000 Plus Additional BenefitsJob description* Responsible for H&S for the team and associated subcontractors* Ensuring the completion of daily/weekly paperwork associated with H&S and clients paperwork.* Managing site supervisors and ensuring they are fulfilling their role.* Coordinating with other construction managers or project managers to ensure that work is progressing on schedule.* Maintaining relationships with clients and subcontractors.* Reviewing progress reports from each team member to track the status of each task.* Carrying out progress reports and issuing to the client on a fortnightly basis.* Monitoring site materials and ensuring an adequate quantity is on site in advance of commencing works.* Monitoring employees'/subcontractors work hours to ensure that they are working efficiently.* Scheduling meetings with clients or other stakeholders to discuss project objectives and requirements.* Communicating with other team members to ensure that all requirements are met.* Managing a team of supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other parties involved in the project.* Working with the commercial team to monitor costs throughout the project, ensuring that the project is profitable.* Working with our and clients design team to work towards a spec compliant design.* Carrying out value engineering where possible to increase the profitability of the projects.* Researching the use of innovation and implementing the use of materials which will speed up install and in turn, help reduce labour on site.If interested please contact John Baker or Kat Oxlade
