Health & Safety Manager – Construction Contractor
Location: Birmingham area

Package: Up to £75,000

Our client is seeking a senior-level Health & Safety Manager to drive performance and culture across a diverse portfolio of live sites.

The position is the lead HSEQ role across the company - a brilliant opportunity for a senior Health & Safety professional to drive best practice, influence senior leadership, and shape how safety is delivered for years to come.

The Role
• Report directly to the Operations Directors, providing leadership and strategic support on all HSE matters
• Oversee Health & Safety across multiple projects, ensuring consistent standards and engagement
• Support the team with regular site visits, inspections, and audits, advising site teams with practical, workable solutions
• Mentor operational staff and promote proactive, people-focused safety culture
• Lead incident investigations, training delivery, and client liaison activities
• Flexible working arrangement with home and site-based balance

About You
• NEBOSH-qualified (Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred)
• Proven track record in construction, ideally within build
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Pragmatic, people-oriented, and confident working across multiple projects
• Full UK driving licence
