Excellent opportunity to work for a leading supply equipment installation business. The company in question works with a number of a high-profile clients and you will be exposed to innovative projects and diverse risks. The role will involve national travel (2-3 days per week) and you can be based anywhere within easy reach of the company's sites throughout the midlands, southeast, northwest and Yorkshire. 

The Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the Health & Safety Manager in managing daily deliverables and workflow, ensuring timely delivery of stakeholder requirements.
  • Travelling nationally to engage with customers, stakeholders and site operations teams.
  • Developing and reviewing health and safety audit plans and schedules, ensure timely completion of incident investigations and lessons learned, and maintain up-to-date health and safety documents in line with new legislation and practices.
  • Planning and reviewing health and safety training components of the corporate training matrix, develop knowledge and skills in the area of specialism, and be a key part of the site Emergency Response Team.

The Health & Safety Advisor will have:

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) strongly desirable. We are willing to look at candidates at Certificate level.
  • Health & Safety experience ideally in logistics, engineering or manufacturing
  • Good presentation, communication and influencing skills, able to engage and collaborate with various organisational functions
  • Knowledge of CDM regulation advantageous
