Exam Invigilator
Career Teachers are looking to recruit Exam Invigilators to work in a cluster of Secondary Schools across the West Midlands area for the Summer exam season 2025.
About The Role
You will be employed on a casual basis to supervise students during the exam season. Working hours will vary depending on examination requirements but will normally be between 8am - 1pm and/or 1pm - 4pm. This is a flexible part-time opportunity that will allow you to work around your schedule.
Key Responsibilities
You will be working in a team of invigilators to supervise students during exams
Oversea students and ensure adherence to exam rules and regulations
Setting up the exam hall/room, collecting and distributing equipment/exam papers at the beginning and end of the exam
Assisting students according to the seating plan
Provide clear instructions and guidance to students as required
Maintaining a calm and controlled environment
What We're Looking For:
Punctual, reliable and professional
Able to remain calm under pressure
Excellent communication skills
Eligibility to work within the UK.
Hold an enhanced DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer a FREE online Safeguarding training course
Able to provide a minimum of 2 x references to cover the last 2 years of employment history.
