About the Role - Financial Trainer

As a financial trainer, you will deliver Level 4 apprenticeships in Financial Advice and Paraplanning to adult learners. You’ll guide apprentices through their learning journeys by combining expert instruction with practical, real-world applications of financial principles. Your work will be both remote and workplace-based, and you’ll be empowered to innovate and engage learners in ways that promote long-term success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality training sessions to individuals and small groups

  • Supporting learners with exam preparation and End Point Assessment readiness

  • Creating engaging, up-to-date curriculum content and learning resources

  • Monitoring learner progress and maintaining accurate, compliant records

  • Embedding key knowledge, skills, and behaviours aligned with industry standards

Who We’re Looking For

You’re a passionate financial trainer who brings both expertise and energy to the classroom. With a strong foundation in financial services and a recognised teaching qualification, you’ll be able to guide learners with confidence and clarity. You’re proactive, organised, and committed to supporting every learner to achieve their best.

To be successful, you’ll need:

  • A Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or Paraplanning

  • A relevant teaching qualification (CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE)

  • A Level 3 assessing qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/D33)

  • Substantial industry experience in the financial sector

Bonus if you also have:

  • Experience delivering Finance Apprenticeship Standards

  • Familiarity with safeguarding, Functional Skills, and e-portfolio systems

  • Chartered Financial Planner status or a CeMAP qualification
