Are you a strategic recruiter with a passion for partnering with forward-thinking businesses to shape their talent acquisition approach? VIQU is hiring a Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our expanding team and support our growing client base.

At VIQU, we partner with organisations across the UK to elevate their recruitment strategies – from fully embedded talent solutions to remote, strategic support. As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering value-led, bespoke recruitment services to our clients, helping them attract, assess, and retain top-tier talent.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working closely with our clients (on-site and remotely) to understand their hiring needs and build effective recruitment strategies.
  • Delivering a consultative approach – advising on EVP, improving interview processes, coaching hiring managers and upskilling internal teams.
  • Sourcing high-quality candidates, primarily across tech and STEM roles, using strategic headhunting, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS platforms, and networking.
  • Embedding within client teams when needed to act as a true partner in their hiring process.
  • Continuously identifying opportunities to improve recruitment outcomes, reduce time-to-hire, and enhance candidate experience.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in tech or STEM recruitment, ideally within an RPO, internal, or agency environment.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strong work ethic and always willing to go the extra mile for hiring managers.
  • A strategic mindset – you think beyond just filling roles and look at the bigger picture of talent attraction and retention.
  • Experience using headhunting techniques and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and modern ATS tools.
  • A passion for delivering excellent candidate and client experiences.
  • Based within a commutable distance to our Birmingham office, with hybrid flexibility available.
