Key Responsibilities of a Neighbourhood Officer:
- Manage all aspects of tenancy management, including sign-ups, tenancy inspections, and dealing with anti-social behaviour (ASB).
- Take prompt and effective action in cases of ASB, collaborating with residents, the police, and partner agencies.
- Conduct regular estate inspections and home visits, maintaining high standards and building positive relationships with tenants.
- Support data quality and compliance, ensuring that all customer systems are up to date and meet regulatory and safeguarding standards.
What We'd Love to See from You:
- Experience in housing management, particularly with handling ASB and tenancy enforcement.
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation, policies, and good practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- The ability to manage a busy, varied caseload with a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach.
