About the Company:
A long-established, dynamic, and client-focused groundworks and civil engineering contractor. They operate primarily within a two-hour driving radius of Birmingham.
Due to ongoing long-term projects and the expansion of new developments, they are currently looking to recruit a Project Administrator/Document Controller with demonstrable experience in the Commercial and Industrial sectors to join their friendly and successful team in the Midlands.
The ideal candidate will support the smooth operation of construction activities, ensuring that all administrative processes, documentation, and communications are well managed. This role also involves elements of Sustainability and Business Development. Our client offers excellent opportunities for growth and progression and is committed to providing the necessary support.
Role requirements:
- Previous administrative experience (construction site experience desirable)
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with document control systems (e.g. Viewpoint, Aconex)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of health & safety and site compliance procedures
- High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records
