Working as an Early Career Teacher (ECT) you will:

  • Deliver exciting lessons to match the school’s teaching and learning strategies.
  • Work alongside support staff to ensure that the needs of all pupils are met.
  • Provide feedback to pupils, in line with the school’s policy.
  • Plan lessons effectively if it is a long-term full class role.
  • Attend meetings and training relevant to this role.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, pupils and parents.
  • Set clear expectations for behaviour and learning in the classroom.

To apply for this Early Career Teacher (ECT) role you will need the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) qualification.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school such as on a placement.
  • Confidence in teaching primary lessons to all abilities.
  • A passion for education and a desire to create better outcomes for all of your students.
  • Be adaptable and reliable, reacting with confidence to new challenges.

Working as an Early Career Teacher (formally known as NQT) for Flourish Education you will receive excellent benefits including:
