Tradewind Recruitment are looking to appoint Level 3 Teaching Assistants for schools based in Birmingham, the successful candidate must hold an NCFE Cache qualification, or equivalent, or be working towards the qualification.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant required for Nursery and Primary Schools

As a successful candidate, you will have a Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education, Support in Teaching and Learning or equivalent, and have significant experience working with young children in an education setting. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with both children and their families to ensure the best outcomes for our pupils.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Nursery Manager or Class Teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for our pupils
  • Developing and implementing strategies to manage challenging behaviour and promote positive behaviour in the classroom
  • Working closely with parents and carers to ensure that our pupils receive consistent support and care both at home and at school
  • Supporting the development of individual education plans and tracking pupil progress

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • A Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education or Nursery Assistant, Support in Teaching and Learning or equivalent
  • Significant experience in managing behaviour in young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to supporting the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and, or National Curriculum

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
