Are you a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant with experience in SEND? Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and nurturing SEND Teaching Assistant to support two children in a welcoming primary school located in Druids Heath.
About the Role:
* This is a rewarding and hands-on role, ideal for someone passionate about making a real difference in early years education.
* Morning: You will work 1:1 with a little boy in Reception who is working at the developmental level of a 2-3-year-old. He is non-verbal, has developmental delay, and exhibits some challenging behaviours.
* Afternoon: You will support a little girl in Reception who is working at the developmental level of a 1-year-old. She is also non-verbal, has developmental delays, and presents with behavioural challenges.
* This role requires personal care, including nappy changing, so candidates must be comfortable and experienced in this area.
Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting children with SEND (particularly in EYFS)
* Comfortable with personal care tasks
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Calm, patient, and nurturing personality
* Available to start immediately and commit on an ongoing basis
* A valid DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
