Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the electrical design process across multiple concurrent projects from concept to completion
  • Produce high-quality electrical design specifications, drawings, and schedules
  • Undertake site inspections, surveys, and attend client and design team meetings
  • Manage junior engineers and provide mentorship where required
  • Coordinate with mechanical and other design disciplines to deliver integrated MEP solutions
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Contribute to internal process improvements and support the business in achieving its strategic growth targets

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in building services electrical design
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, British Standards, and CIBSE guidelines
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux/Relux, and Amtech
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills
  • Experience working on projects in the commercial, residential and/or heritage sectors
  • Degree-qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Chartered or working toward chartership (e.g., CEng, MIET or MCIBSE) desirable
