We're currently recruiting for a brilliant opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our client's team on a critical, state of the art site based in Birmingham, you'll be joining a well renowned, market leading building service provider based in Birmingham, gain exposure to a critical site and receive all the necessary opportunities to progress further within your career!This is a static role, following a fixed schedule of Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm For this Electrical Engineer role, you will ensure that all planned preventive and reactive maintenance is carried out on mechanical and electrical systems on site, liaise with subcontractors, fault find, troubleshoot and carry out general maintenance duties.To be successful in the Electrical Engineer role, you must be fully qualified in electrical installations / engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent / higher) , at least 3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer within commercial maintenance, live within commutable distance to site and possess a great understanding of commercial M&E systems.Electrical Engineer Duties:

  • PPMs & Reactive maintenance
  • Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, Pumps, BMS Operation
  • Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
  • Completing logbooks and RAMS
  • Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.

Electrical Engineer Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in electrical installations / engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent / higher)
  • At least 3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer within commercial maintenance
  • Live within commutable distance to site
  • Great understanding of commercial M&E systems.
  • Experience in a critical environment would be desirable, not essential

Salary and Package:

  • £44,000 - £47,000 per annum
