Electrical/Mechanical Engineer - Field-Based Role

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for engineering? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? A leading service provider is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join their team, based at their Birmingham site.



About the Role:

As part of a specialist engineering team, you'll play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and improving equipment and systems across a range of commercial and industrial environments. This is a site based role with a strong focus on customer service, technical excellence, and safety.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on a variety of systems and equipment.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
  • Install and commission new equipment as required.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Provide technical support and advice to clients and colleagues.


What We're Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (dual-skilled preferred).
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a field service or facilities environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
