Annual Salary: 49,000 - OTE - 54000
Weekly Shifts:4 on/off days and nights - 2 days/2 nights

Maintenance Technicians are required to support plant operations including but not limited to, Induction furnaces, Automated Casting, Milling, Rolling, Annealing, Pickling and Slitting lines, conveyors, pump systems, electric motors, contactors, relays, switches, sensors, solenoids, distribution boards, inverters, and overhead cranes.
Main Duties of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- The ability to competently work both alone and within a team environment
- Attending plant breakdowns
- Partake in TPM/PPM activities
- Repair, maintain and improve plant equipment to a required standard
- Undertake occasional installation/continuous improvement projects as required
Requirements of an Electrical Maintenance Technician:
- 3 Years of medium to heavy, industrial electrical experience preferred
- Competent in the use of PLC's (Siemens S5/7/TIA desired) to fault-find and troubleshoot on plant equipment
- Must have PLC experience and the ability to use associated tools for integration of the software.
- Must be time served, holding qualifications in Electrical Engineering. (City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ Level 3)
- HNC and 17th/18th Edition desired but not essential
- Ability to read electrical and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of working with AC & DC, single & 3 phase systems and inverter drives.
- Foundry experience desirable but not essential
