The Field Service Team plays a critical role in maintaining these standards, and the company is now seeking an experienced engineer ready to take the next step in their career. This is a customer-facing, dynamic role, ideal for an experienced Field Service Engineer looking to join a growing and forward-thinking team.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on CNC machines in line with internal service standards.

  • Visit customer sites regularly to service and repair machines, while building and maintaining excellent working relationships.

  • Provide technical support to colleagues and customers regarding the CNC machine range.

  • Adhere to strict health and safety practices in accordance with company standards.

  • Keep current with new machine models and control systems by attending training sessions as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must be based in the Yorkshire area.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Engineering HNC and Modern Apprenticeship, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a maintenance-based role (post-apprenticeship) working with machine tools.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical fitting skills.

  • Advantageous: Familiarity with 5-axis machining centres and multi-tasking turning centres
  • Knowledge of at least one of the following control systems: Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • IT literacy, including use of PC, mobile devices, and email.
