We're recruiting on behalf of a respected building services consultancy that has recently launched a new office in Birmingham. With five experienced professionals already in place, the team is expanding and looking to add three new hires: a Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, a Junior Electrical Design Engineer, and a Building Services Revit Technician.The company is known for delivering high-quality MEP design solutions across sectors such as healthcare, student accommodation, and commercial developments, with a strong focus on collaboration, sustainability, and technical excellence.Your new role
As a Junior Electrical Design Engineer, you'll be joining a supportive and experienced team, working on a variety of building services projects. This role is ideal for someone
early in their career, with some experience in a building services consultancy, who is looking to develop their skills and grow within a forward-thinking environment.You'll assist in producing electrical design layouts, calculations, and specifications, while gaining exposure to client meetings, site visits, and multidisciplinary collaboration.What you'll need to succeed
- Some experience working within a building services consultancy (essential)
- Basic understanding of electrical building services systems
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines with support
- Familiarity with design software is helpful but not essential
