Lead Engineer (Solar)UK Wide - Hybrid Position £50,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Progression + Pension + Excellent Holidays + OvertimeAre you an experienced Commercial Electrician with experience in the Solar O&M sector looking to transition to an 'off the tools' role?Do you want an opportunity to progress your career within an international and well renowned organisation?This company provides specialist operations and maintenance to solar farms across Europe. Their portfolio has continued to grow and is expecting to consistently expand over the coming years, requiring highly qualified individuals to continue providing an industry leading service.In this role you will be providing remote support to the companies field based engineers, assisting with complex fault finding and resolutions. There may be requirement to attend site for technical support on inverter level failures which are unable to be resolved via remote support. You may also get involved at a group level, remotely assisting and providing your expertise to the international subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years experience of installing and maintaining electrical systems on industrial sites. It would also be advantageous if you have proven experience of Solar O&M, with knowledge of inverter systems, communication protocols and monitoring platforms. Related industry experience in the Wind sector may also be considered.
