Opportunity for a Senior Chemical Engineer to join a Global Organic Chemistry supplier in the West Midlands.
As a Senior Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as a project leader, developing the plants design and advising other engineers by providing your expertise.
Your main duties will be:
Designing and Commissioning hazard assessments and HAZOPs
Ensuring all work is done in compliance with Statutory Regulations and Codes of Practice
Collaborating with Project engineering to develop the plants design
Provide expertise to Process Improvement Groups and the Research Department to develop new and existing processes
Oversee targets and budgets and advise other engineers, customers, contractors and consultants of technical matters
The qualifications you should have:
A Chemical Engineering degree, as a minimum
Advantages you may have:
Experience in developing or improving new/existing processes
On plant experience with trouble shooting skills
COMAH regulations
Experience in DSEAR methodology
Experience in SIL and LOPA Assessments
Permanent position, Immediate Start, up to 60k depending on experience.
