What you’ll be doing:

• Lead, support and optimise automation and control systems across a complex, highly automated production site.
• Deliver advanced Plc programming and integration (Siemens S7, TIA Portal, and other platforms).
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Projects and CI teams to solve problems, improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and technicians.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in a fast paced, world class environment.

What were looking for:

• Strong experience in Plc programming, fault finding and control system design.
• Solid knowledge of Siemens S7, TIA Portal (or similar platforms).
• Background in automation driven manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record of leading projects, upgrades and process improvements.
• Ability to deliver system reliability and efficiency gains.

Location:

West Midlands – easily commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Coleshill, Atherstone and surrounding areas.
