Our client is searching for a driven and experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a newly established team in their brand-new Birmingham office. Key Responsibilities:
路Take ownership of the electrical design process on a range of projects
路Deliver high-quality, low-energy design solutions using Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, and other tools
路Collaborate closely with mechanical and sustainability colleagues across regional offices
路Represent the Birmingham office in meetings with clients, architects, and contractors
路Ensure compliance with all relevant design standards and building regulations
路Help shape the culture and technical direction of the new office
路Support and mentor junior engineers as the team grows
What They're Looking For:
路Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
路Chartered or working towards chartership with a recognised institution (e.g., CIBSE, IET)
路Strong consultancy experience in electrical design for buildings
路Proficiency with industry software including Revit, Amtech, Dialux
路Confident communicator with a collaborative, hands-on approach
路A passion for sustainability and innovation in building services
路Ambition to help build and lead a new regional team
