You’ll manage and oversee installation and commissioning projects when required, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, and implement preventative maintenance strategies.

As the technical lead, you will maintain a high standard of compliance, ensuring all activities align with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental requirements. Regular site visits, hands-on support, and collaboration with sales, estimating, and operations teams will be integral to your role.

You should have at least five years’ experience in pump station maintenance or engineering, alongside strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with UK Water Industry Standards. Experience leading or mentoring technical teams is essential, along with an ability to communicate complex issues clearly to a range of stakeholders.

A degree or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred, though equivalent time-served experience will be considered. Certifications such as CSCS, Confined Space Training, 18th Edition, IOSH/NEBOSH, or Train the Trainer are desirable. Proficiency in pump selection software and telemetry systems is also beneficial.
