Are you looking to build a long-term career in the renewable energy sector with one of Europe's leading solar O&M specialists?

Do you want structured training and a clear path to progress into a Senior Portfolio Manager position?

This international company provides specialist operations and maintenance services to utility-scale solar farms across Europe. With over 480MW under management in the UK and further expansion ahead, they are now looking to grow their commercial and portfolio management teams.

In this role, you will support the daily management of large-scale solar assets - assisting in reporting, scheduling maintenance, managing client relationships, and ensuring that sites are performing efficiently. You will be trained by experienced Portfolio Managers, gaining full exposure to contract, technical, and budgetary responsibilities, with regular development reviews to progress your career.

The ideal candidate will have some background or qualification in electrical engineering or project coordination, and be confident with Microsoft Office tools. You must be highly organised, a great communicator, and motivated to grow within a professional and technical environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to join the renewables sector and develop into a senior commercial role.

The Role:

  • Assist in managing the performance of large-scale solar PV assets
  • Support contract and budget management activities
  • Liaise with field engineers and process maintenance requests
  • Help create technical reports and monitor asset performance
  • Communicate with clients and ensure service standards are met
  • 25,000 - 28,000 + Bonus + Full Training + Progression + Holidays + Pension


The Person:

  • Academic or work experience in electrical engineering, project coordination or similar
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Willing to travel to Birmingham office as needed
  • Motivated to build a career in solar/renewables
