Mobile Maintenance Electrician - West Midlands - National Facilities Management Organisation: Commercial & Retail

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilledMaintenance Electricianto join our national client on apermanent basis, who are a leading provider infacilities managementsolutions, delivering top-tier services across various industries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

This is amobile opportunity, covering Birmingham & surrounding areas.

Package:
  • Competitive salary between £38,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Van & fuel card supplied
  • Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
  • Participation in an out of hours on call rota (to be confirmed)
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment

Qualifications:
  • Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management industry
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
