£40,000 – £55,000 OTE + Van + OT + On-Call Allowance

NEOS Engineering are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a skilled High Voltage Jointer/Fitter to join a leading HV power engineering specialist. Working nationwide, this is a brilliant chance for an experienced HV professional who is looking for long-term stability, excellent benefits, and genuine career progression.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience installing, jointing, and terminating HV cables up to 33kV, along with a strong background in maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of HV networks. Knowledge of XLPE, PILC, and EPR cable types is essential, and a commitment to safe working practices is a must.

This is a permanent role offering full-time hours, a company vehicle, and excellent overtime earning potential. Occasional overnight stays will be required depending on project locations.

The Role:

  • Install, joint, and terminate high voltage cables up to 33kV

  • Carry out maintenance, fault-finding, and repair work on HV cables, switchgear, and transformers

  • Work on substations, underground cable networks, and associated electrical infrastructure

  • Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and customers to ensure high standards of work

  • Complete all necessary documentation and reports

  • Adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental procedures

The Candidate:

  • Recognised electrical or high voltage jointing/fitting qualification

  • Valid JIB CSCS Card and certification in HV jointing (from DNO, utility provider, or industry body)

  • Experience working with various cable types (XLPE, PILC, EPR)

  • Strong understanding of HV safety procedures, risk assessments, and method statements

  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights

  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Full, clean UK Driving License
