Electroplater

Alliance Personnel are seeking an Electroplater to join one of our clients based in Birmingham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying metallic coatings to various substrates to enhance their appearance and protect them from corrosion. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate electroplating equipment and machinery to apply coatings accurately.
• Prepare surfaces for plating by cleaning, polishing, and masking as necessary.
• Monitor the electroplating process to ensure quality standards are met.
• Load and unload materials and products from the electroplating line.
• Maintain accurate records of production and inventory using a warehouse management system.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while handling chemicals and heavy materials.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:45am - 4:45pm with an early finish on Friday
