Principal Consultant - Operational Excellence & Transformation

About the Role

A leading global consulting firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Consultant to join its growing team. This is a senior leadership role focused on driving Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Strategy, and Digital Transformation initiatives across a diverse range of industries.

You will work closely with senior executives to develop and implement performance improvement strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on experience in leading high-impact projects and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Advisory & Thought Leadership:
  Shape and lead transformation strategies in areas such as Lean Manufacturing, Digital Transformation, and Supply Chain Optimization to improve client productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
• Project Leadership & Delivery:
  Manage and deliver complex consulting engagements, ensuring tailored, impactful solutions that address clients' specific business challenges.
• Client Relationship Management:
  Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, building long-term relationships and supporting clients through major transformation initiatives.
• Team Leadership & Development:
  Coach and mentor junior consultants, promoting knowledge sharing and delivery excellence.
• Business Development:
  Identify new opportunities, contribute to proposal development, and support the firm's growth through thought leadership and innovation.

Key Skills

• Deep expertise in Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, Digital Manufacturing, or Industrial Strategy.
• Proven experience leading complex consulting projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Comfortable working with C-suite executives and translating strategic challenges into actionable plans.
• A global mindset and ability to work effectively across industries and cultures.
