Job Purpose
  • Oversee a diverse client portfolio, acting as the go-to person for clients
  • Lead audits from planning to completion, championing quality and compliance at every step
  • Preparation of accounts and tax computations within audit engagements
  • Act as the audit lead during fieldwork by supervising junior staff, reviewing work and monitoring team performance
  • Build strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries and problem solving
  • Deliver a strong understanding of risk management during audits, with a critical eye to ensure accuracy

Job Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified
  • Qualified by experience also considered
  • Proven track record of leading audits from planning to completion within practice
  • Excellent understanding of relevant audit software, including Microsoft Office, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and CCH
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Excellent team management and leadership skills
  • Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
  • A team player who is eager to support the wider team
  • A drive to progress within the firm by undertaking training and further learning
