Job Purpose
  • Provide trusted advisory to a significant and diverse client portfolio
  • Manage all commercial aspects of your portfolio, ensuring all fees are issues in a timely manner
  • Review of Corporation Tax Returns and Computations on behalf of clients
  • Working directly with Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met
  • Analyse and interpret data and prepare tax advice based on findings
  • Preparation of tax reports
  • Undertake a range of corporate tax advisory work
  • Attend prospect meetings and working with other departments as required
  • Lead liaison with HMRC on behalf of clients, proactively handling enquiries
  • Oversee junior staff, including monitoring workflow, reviewing work, and identifying training opportunities
  • Proactively investigate and identify opportunities for the firm and clients
  • Provide effective feedback during job interviews
  • Promote and maintain a positive team culture

Job Requirements
  • Qualified to ACA, CTA or equivalent level
  • 5 years of UK practice experience, with a previous tax supervisory level role
  • Portfolio management experience, including all commercial aspects
  • Good people management skills
  • Strong understanding of current tax and general accounting UK regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
  • Sound IT skills to efficiently carry out work
  • Comfortable seeking advice in order to minimise risks
