A well-established charity and SME operating in the social care / housing sector is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Director to lead their finance function during an exciting period of strategic growth and transformation.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving financial strategy, managing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing IT systems and infrastructure. Sitting on the Executive Committee, the Finance Director will play a critical part in shaping the organisation’s direction and supporting sustainable development.

What will you do as a Finance Director?
- Lead financial planning, reporting, and risk management across the Group
- Deliver robust budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to Executive and Board
- Oversee payroll, IT systems, and financial controls
- Manage audits, banking relationships, and investment planning
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team
- Support business development through clear financial analysis and modelling
- Ensure value for money across external contracts and service provision
What do you need as a Finance Director?
- Fully qualified finance professional with 3+ years pq experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Expertise in financial and management reporting
- Knowledge of Charity / Housing is essential
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
