Location: North Birmingham (Hybrid)
This role will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of the business. You will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making. Your expertise will be essential in driving financial stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monthly group reporting.
- Assist with consolidated P&L and balance sheet budget and forecasting.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial analysis and insights for decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
- Co-ordinating external audit being a key point of contact between the business and the auditors.
- Preparing ad-hoc reports analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and reporting.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
