An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Head of Group Treasury to join a private-equity backed high-growth global manufacturing business headquartered in Birmingham, West Midlands.
This company is on an exciting journey and is poised for significant growth with revenues approaching 300m. The Head of Group Treasury will play a pivotal role in overseeing treasury operations, managing financial resources, and optimising the company's capital structure.
The Head of Group Treasury will report directly to the CFO and will be instrumental in promoting the finance function across the organisation. This role requires a strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at managing complex financial matters.
Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee cash flow and liquidity management to ensure adequate funding for operations and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and implement financial risk management strategies, including hedging strategies and financial instruments.
- Evaluate and recommend strategies to optimise the company's capital structure and manage relationships with financial institutions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on treasury activities and financial performance to senior management.
- Act as a subject matter expert for projects requiring treasury support, including M&A transactions.
Skills and experience required:
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent, with a strong academic foundation.
- Significant track record in treasury management within a multinational business.
- Exceptional financial modelling and numerical skills with a proven track record in managing cash flow and investment portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of treasury operations, financial markets, and risk management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial matters clearly.
