We’re hiring on behalf of a growing advisory firm with a strong regional footprint. This is your chance to join a progressive team that delivers high-quality tax compliance and strategic advisory services to ambitious businesses and investors across the Midlands and North West.

Role Highlights

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of PE-backed and high-growth companies, delivering both compliance and value-added advisory projects. You’ll work alongside corporate finance, M&A tax, and structuring specialists, contributing to the success of complex transactions and long-term tax strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of private equity clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance across all tax areas
  • Lead or support on transactional advisory projects, including structuring, due diligence, and exit planning
  • Act as a key contact for CFOs, finance directors, and investment stakeholders, building trusted relationships
  • Oversee tax reviews, reporting, and risk management for PE portfolios
  • Collaborate with partners and directors on business development and delivery of specialist advice
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, promoting technical development and commercial awareness

What We're Looking For

  • CTA, ACA, or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in a mid-tier, Big 4, or PE-focused advisory environment
  • Experience managing tax compliance and advisory work for portfolio companies or deal-led clients
  • Exposure to due diligence or structuring (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills and a solutions-led approach
  • Ambition to grow within a high-performing and entrepreneurial environment
